Sunday Independent -- Front Page -- BANNED

This is actually shocking!! Although I don't know why I'm surprised.. The citizens of the republic must go on strike and refuse to pay taxes until these corrupt SAPS and even government official are axed!!

I actually think a rebellion is in order!

Court halts newspaper report on crime intelligence

The Sunday Independent was late on Friday night interdicted by the High Court in Pretoria from publishing information on appointments in the crime intelligence division of the South African Police Service (SAPS), the National Press Club said.

"The minister of police, national commissioner and divisional commissioner of crime intelligence brought an urgent application before the court on Friday evening to stop the Sunday Independent from publishing any information about appointments and to return documents in possession of the newspaper," the National Press Club said in a statement.

"It is believed that the newspaper wanted to expose alleged nepotism within crime intelligence. Last week, the paper published a series of allegations."

Ummmm... the bolded parts are hyperlinks... but, yes, not of the banned (follow up) story.

Actually, that's plagiarism, but quoting pertinent parts of an article is useful.

erm...... no

It's only plagiarism if you make it out to be your own. He is linking to the original article thus giving credit to the writer and the site it's on.

I think that you are correct.
(I am ignoring copyright because that's always a messy argument)

Only the ANC have learned the "right" way to do it.
I wonder how long we will be able to post stuff about the government online? Maybe stuff will have to be posted on sites not in SA?

Anyone who doesn't see where we are headed is living with their heads in their rear ends, history and especially in Africa has shown where we are going

100%

CapeTalk/702 Radio has recently been running an ad talking about the butterfly effect and the difference that one person can make to the country by standing up for what he believes in. This is an extremely unfortunate example (and makes me want to stick my finger down my throat) when we consider the effect that Jacob Zuma has had on the country.

During his watch several momentous things have happened – none of them good.

The Scorpions were disbanded, thereby removing all danger of prosecution for past (or future crimes) for him and his comrades.

The head of the National Prosecuting Authority was replaced by a Party hack whose loyalty is to the Party instead of the Constitution.

As Chief of Police another loyal Party comrade has been appointed.

The Arms Deal scandal has finally been swept under the carpet and Zuma's partner in crime was sprung from his token/so-called imprisonment.

The SABC has become simply an ANC propaganda machine funded by the taxpayer.

The new Lawyers Bill threatens the rule of law and has been described as a “calamity for the rule of law” by one of South Africa's top legal minds.

We are starting to see severe media censorship as bad as the worst efforts of the Nats.

The four original provinces (although not Zuma's doing) were expanded to nine in order to provide bloated bureaucracies and jobs for cronies. The National Health Insurance is simply another bureaucracy intended to provide jobs for more incompetent cronies.

The current talk talk about reverting to four provinces is purely about seizing control of the Western Cape from the DA and will be a disaster for its people.

I would like to see the Western Cape secede from SA and go it alone because the country is sliding irrevocably into a one party dictatorship like Zimbabwe. Unlike Zimbabwe, there are several factions in SA competing for power and the possibility of a coup and civil war is very real.

Two years before Zuma came to power I predicted that he would become another Idi Amin and none of his actions since then have led me to believe that I was mistaken.

After living through the changes in Nyasaland and both Rhodesias I cannot say the the future looks good for anyone except the elite members of the ruling party.

Want to know why the Media Tribunal has been put on the back burner PickupTruck?.... because its so damned unconstitutional that its just a pathetic joke... and someone with half a brain in the ANC has realised this, and they're trying to find a new way of implementing it that will pass the "Constitutional" test.

this country is fcked

ill watch the ANC fck this country over and over from somewhere else thanks
