True....but that is how politics goes I think. You over promise to get the people behind you. Say you gonna do all these things blah blah blah. Then when the time comes you fall way short of what you said you gonna do and then the people start turning against you. Fine balancing game. Seems he is loosing it.

Their stupidity is amazing. Not only is the big money establishment spending lots of money in the fake anti-establishment grass roots "tea party" movement, but they are going to vote for the same people that got them in the poo in the same place. Americans are so stupid they deserve what they vote for.

You are assuming that what you have seen on tv represents typical Americans, but yes it doesnt look good for the democrats, but only because their voter base may not turn out.

He probably shouldn't have promised this then. Selling OBAMA as the american messiah is obviously going to create some ludicrous expectations and when not delivered then the "consistent" Republicans are turned to again.
 
The Republicans started a smear campaign against Obama the second they realised that the Bimbo and the Old man weren't going to be voted in.

I cannot believe the stupidity of the man in the street believing the Republican propaganda machine, whilst turning a blind eye to the way the Republicans have stuck a spanner in the works with every single attempt by the Democrats to improve things.

Too true. I don't get Americans, they're supposedly crying out for the 'change' Obama failed to deliver. And how do they respond? By voting for a party which is intrinsically resistant & afraid of change. As they say, "Go Figure!"

Perhaps he should have done what he promised and was elected to do. Amazing considering the Republicans destroyed reputation and complete Dem dominance that they have managed to blow it so spectacularly in just one election cycle :o

More and more people in progressive countries are feeling very sorry for the smarter Americans. Pity America has so many stupid people. Theyre pulling the smart people backwards. If Republicans take control of congress it will give them control of the purse strings basically control of taxes and federal spending. They'll just cut off Obama's funding for his policies and he'll be forced to compromise.
