Start the new year off with a bang! Calling all young ambitious individuals to join our team. This large organisation seeks candidates with the following skills :
2-4 years testing experience required with experience in all stages of application testing including functional, usability, regression and performance testing of application
Knowledge of relational databases, excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the software development life cycle
Proficient in relevant software packages and applications
Qualifications:
Relevant Testing Qualifications (ISEB/ISTQB)
Relevant Tertiary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties include developing and executing formal test plans to ensure delivery of quality software applications
Assist in the preparation of test plans
Design, create and maintain automated test scripts
Perform testing from test scripts
Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards
Deliver process training to technical staff
