We are Microsoft Gold Certified, based in Rondebosch (Cape Town) delivering high quality custom software to businesses. We are looking for people that have the right balance between technical and management skills and that have knowledge on the Agile methodology.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated ASP.Net and C#.Net developers with the relevant qualifications and proven C#, SQL 2005/2008 and relational database design experience.
Requirements:
• Relevant IT degree/diploma
• Microsoft Certifications would be an advantage
• .Net Framework 2.0 / 3.5 experience (3 to 8 years)
• Must have SQL Server / database skills
• ASP.Net web development experience would be advantageous
• Good team player/motivator
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Management experience would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and support existing applications
• Develop C#.Net applications using Visual Studio 2008/2010
• Develop test plans and perform unit, systems and integration testing
• Design and develop relational databases using SQL 2005/2008
• Assisting Developers with unit and integration testing.
• General trouble shooting of production problems.
• Support users and build constructive relationships with internal and external partners
• Responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the project
• Follow all the required project management activities according to methodology
• Track project progress against plan and provide revisions as appropriate.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, budget and on time.
