By some miracle maybe someone has through a JTAG process?

No, but the fastboot loader has enabled me to hard reset my Dream when it was caught in an endless reboot cycle... Alas it was the 2nd time it happened, so I've gone back to my Palm Pre - Android has more apps, but constant resets and lost app data ain't me...

My dream is now running froyo 2.2.1, and it is now really running like a dream.

Sorry, but I have never had the displeasure of bricking a phone yet. I know the JTAG stuff is quite expensive.

problem is that i still had the stock SPL when I decided to do the radio update. So I can't even get into the fastboot. If I could get into fastboot, it would be plain sailing from there. but alas.

Still kicking myself. I had downloaded the wrong radio. Did a bit more google reading then dowloaded the correct one. But then copied the wrong radio onto the device.

it's a shame really. i guess i'll be getting a new phone.
