Get one, borrow one if you have to... Use it for a little while and then revert with comments. If you still hate iPhones, so be it... Everyone has, and is entitled to, their own preference. Mine is the iPhone and I'm pleased to add that I am, in fact, one of those 13M idiots (who are better off than you).

Ok, ok good for you. I dont want to start a fight with apple hugers here. I have a Samsung Galaxy S and it kills ur iphone, thats all I know. iPhone is an overrated fashion statement after android phones hit the market.

No worries... Like I say, we all have our own preferences and make our own choices. It's really great that you're happy with your Galaxy S. Me and 13M other people are going to hug our iPhones now...

Boring trash talk arguments as usual. The Galaxy S is a fine phone. Does it kill the iPhone 4? Not really, the iPhone 4 matches it pretty much spec for spec, with a bit of give or take. (iPhone 4 has a better camera, Galaxy S is larger etc etc).

They're actually very similar in a lot of respects, even Android functions somewhat like iOS 4. I'd really like to try the Galaxy S for myself, particularly one with Froyo. See what the fuss is about.

Hahahhaaha. It doesn't work on the iPhone. My iPhone 3GS is a GPS (with terrible reception). It can still let you get lost. If it wasn't for the reception issues with the iPhones I wouldve used mine more.

To be honest.
That's rather impressive for Apple.
Considering that nokia, samsung and lg have mid and low range phone options and will appeal to a larger market base.
then again...apple always had it's disciples that would believe steadfast!

LOL...to think that I might actually have one of the iphones in Feb.

I'm playing Quake 3 on my Galaxy, how does it run on the iPhone?

iPhone can access > 300 000 applications that won't run on your Galaxy. Your Galaxy can access < 100 000 applications that won't run on iPhone. For every one app available for Android iPhone users can select the best of three.

Lol who the hell want to play games on a phone where the battery lasts a day. They call it a smartphone?

...but you will have payed for 2 new phones (...iPhones that is).

Well, I got my iPhone 4 on a Vodacom Top-Up 275 contract (with 110MB data included) that costs me no more that the person taking the Galaxy S on a contract instead.

Did some reading on gsmarena.com regarding a comparison on the Galaxy S and the Iphone 4.
Galaxy S owns. :D

That was such a biased review. For example iPhone has a better camera than Galaxy S yet they gave the Galaxy more points for the camera section.

I have a SGS and I dont believe its any better than an iphone 4. Specially without froyo. They both great phones, with their pros and cons. Thats why not eveyone buys the one or the other because for the most part people are smart enough to buy what suits them.

Must say kudos to Apple sales wise. RIM has been in the game for how long and still can't outsell them even when offering budget versions of their phones. Even beating Sony which offers plenty different types of phones.
Whats going to be interesting is watching Symbian sales from now on as well as to see how WinPho 7 takes off.
