GPSMAP 62 outdoor handheld GPS receiver launched in SA

I'm trying to get an RRP out of Garmin, but I checked EasyGIS yesterday and the 62 was about R3100 there if memory serves. No 62s, though.
 
i have 60cs which cost me about R6000 a few years back so this new one would be in that region too, ps. the 60cs still costs about R6000

I have a 1410 they can't fix and I am now rated as being "Rude" after expressing my opinion on the Garmap forum.

Hope this forum is not on (a) supplier's payroll as the Garmap one is!

Garmin has too many products they can't support - they should have stuck to GPS and leave the rest to smartphones, ipads and the like.

What's wrong with your 1410?

From the sounds of it there won't be any more Garmin-Asus devices. Asus will continue to use Garmin in there smarpthones, but the phones will be branded Asus and not Garmin-Asus.
