Hi guys, i would like to know if there is any free software that i can use to monitor background updates that are automatically downloading without my consent.I have disabled the windows updates to ask first but it seems as if something is chowing my bundles and would like to know/track that program and be able to disable it.

probably Malware of Spyware, download mbam : http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and check. The free version should last 30 days or so.

Make sure Adobe's auto update is disabled.
PS there is MBAM keygen. (google is your friend).

Also a lot of updaters start when windows starts up ie: Google Updater. Go to Task Scheduler in win vista/7 and see what starts and whats running in the background.
I'm not sure you can see what services are updating without your consent. I presume though that you can see what connections are going in and out of your computer. I think the Command Prompt command was "netstat"

Yes and type msconfig in task and disable those programs that may up date at start up

Download the free version of NetLimiter which allows you to track network usage. If you want to throttle applications, have to buy full version. The free version (monitor) is still version 2.0.
