My wife is looking at a new phone, she is a bit conservative when it comes to phones and always choose a Nokia, i want her to look at something else as well.

The N8 that you can get on the Talk 130 contract doesn't have any free minutes, that could be a drawback.

The HTC has android.

She's also looking at the Nokia C6-00 and the Nokia E5-00

Any suggestions?

The Wildfire isn't remotely in the same league - it's an entry-level 'droid, and you're comparing it to Nokia's current flagship.

Even I'd take the Nokia if those are the two options. ;)

between those 2 the N8. the C6 might be a bit more user friendly and compact though. it's basically a detuned N8.

Ok the N8 is out of the race, because you dont get any free minutes and thats more important to her than an awesome phone :wtf: ..............................Women

So is the C6 the better option then??

yep. unless you are looking at a HTC desire,, maybe give android a miss for now.

With Vodacom the N8 comes free on a Talk 130, incl 30mb for 12 months.

Talk 130 = 130 anytime minutes for R315.

Yeah but no free minutes

I have Vodacom pamphlet here that advertise the Talk 130 for R185??

Why settle for another phone when you can get the N8? She’ll love it, awesome camera. We girls like our camera’s.

Take it on the Talk 130(R315 per month for 130 anytime minutes + 30mb x 12 months)). The Business contract is R185, no minutes included.

The pamphlet states: Errors and Omissions Excepted, so don't even try fighting it out with them. Been there, done that. Please take my word for it, been working in a Vodacom store for long enough!

Thanks chrissy, R315 is a bit much though, so she is looking at the C6-00?
