Open access LTE network in Kenya to cut broadband costs

Like I said back in in 08' Kenya is going to be the #1 in Africa when it comes to IT. These guys are making the right moves at the right time. I don't know what they did but they have finally figured the simplest formula to success.

The more technically advanced your country is = The smarter your citizens; the more money your country gets.

I remember when I was visiting a buddy of mine in Nairobi CBD, the country is looking very nice. It looks better than most of Joburg and the internet prices are going down each year and becoming very stable, much more stable than iBURST/NeoFail offered here. They already have packages where you can get cable internet, TV, and phone at great prices.

I encourage for those of you who have always wanted to visit Kenya, go ahead and check it out! --- Blame our stupid Government and Telkom for the slow progress!

I would say well done kenya great forsight!

They only building one networks infrastructural enabling greater coverage and quicker penetration,
It reduce the cost of the operators setup not require to build their own network.
allows for better planning and location of towers for best coverage.
Reduce visual impact on the surrounding area's as their reduce number of towers,
as dont require each operate to have a tower.
Will result in better city planning and town planing around the location of towers
as corporation can work closely with other government town planing departments.

Will inturn lead to better and more optimal routing capabilities than conventional networks architecture
reduce overall load on network backhall.

This should be viewed as an example for the rest of the world on how they
should have deployed wireless network infrastructural for major communication networks such broadband and cellular.

I want to go overseas and work for a couple of years and return to south africa. But now the government wants to impose income tax on my hard earned foreign cash. No way am I giving my income to those bastards in parlament.

I'd rather emmigrate to Kenya and help their productive government do something good with my money.

Kenya probably has the best ICT sector in Africa which is in really sick when you consider South Africa has the largest GDP, frakking telscum! Im gonna start stabbing those technician van's tires!!!!
