Where to now after Afrihost special

I signed up for the 25gb+25gb special for ~R247 per month that special ends at December. Before that I had uncapped and battled royally with anything that was IS based. Not to keen on MWEB based on previous experience. I have a 384 line

What specials are there at the moment that comes close to 50gb for R250 level

Just check your invoice to make sure they rectified their mistake from last month by not charging you for October and then the full amount in November.

My invoice shows that they are planning to charge the full amount to my card again in December. :(
 
you guys need to re-check what you have read.

there used to be a special where you got 50+50 for I think the R400 and something and they stated that it was only going to run to a certain period or they may extend it.

currently they are still running great specials and still for the R400 and something you get the double bandwidth which would put it at 25+25.

this is currently running and will be running till March and unless they decide to extend it.

I also got caught by that double up 50% off special and was charged full amount the next month before I could cancel (as you have to cancel before 25th)
 
As mentioned in another thread, the way they structured their special offers is just a llllittle confusing.... I'm also paying R950 this month for 50gb+50gb vs R475 last month for 50gb+50gb. Have downgraded to the 25gb+25gb package @ R475 effective 1/2/2010 until 30/3/2010. After that one must reconsider because 25gb for R475 is not worth it. Rather go for their uncapped offering @ R497...

but it is 50gigs for R475...

and although I love them, I would not recommend their uncapped, unless you are willing to test it yourself.
 
yes but until then it is better than most offerings...

besides you might be surprised and they end up extending it.

as said, I would much rather go for a capped account as for the uncapped accounts.

but ofc each to his own.

Not disagreeing with you. If the package remains R475 for 50gb I'll definitely stick with it. Nothing wrong with R9.50 per gb of unshaped bandwidth especially on my 10mb line :)
