Get 60 minutes free talk time from MTN

Vodacom has a similar promotion also (theirs is R29 and above, then you get 60 minutes also), this to a conspiracy lover sounds like an arranged "marriage".

I got an sms from Vodacom a few days ago. Recharge with a R29 voucher and get 60 free minutes for the day.

Oooh, 60 anytime minutes to any network! That beats Vodacom's "offer" with leaps and bounds... theirs is in the midnight hours and voda to voda calls only afaik.

Am all for this but WHY only until 24 December, why not make families speak with each other without having to worry about the bill during Christmas time, Ayoba Fail :(

Does MTN's "One Rate" (which is a call per second plan) qualify for this, or do you have to be on one of the Call Per Second Plans to get it?

the networks crash on xmas without specials like these, what do you think is going to happen if everyone gets a free hour of talk time for every 30 bucks they spend? :p

And us contract customers? Do we get screwed, again?

+1 ... guess they don't want our money paid to them monthly ...we should rather all just get payasyougo ..so we can pay them erratically and get more benefit!!
I find this to be the case with most companies ... only concerned about the "new" clients, while neglecting their existing clients .... and then they wonder why the lose clients !!

you already got your "free" phone, deal with it.

Conspiracy, what conspiracy? The telco industry seems to lack creativity sometimes. The system they use haven't changed much from when they started. Those systems are supplied by a few supplies, if not the same company. After creating the solution for Vodacom (or some other telco before), they just copy it across to MTN. Their only ingenuity comes maybe in advertising, otherwise all their feature lists look like they were copied from the same pamphlet.

I recharged with VC R29 on saturday afternoon and got those 60 mins but i was busy to call anyone and by sunday morning they were all gone, WTF is that? At least 48 hrs, any network is getting my attention, TIME to get Mtyn sim. Damn that Cellc thingy not available in my area for better data rates.......

hope this is not a Christmas promotion which they will discontinue in January

So let me get this... 60 anytime minutes to any-network with-in 48 Hours

Yoh this makes Vodacom's deal look like a rip off lmao, thou Vodacom didnt restrict this to cetian packages

Glad to see something good

You are gullible if you think any phone from any service provider is free.

I am not upgrading again waiting for contract to end.

No service provider cares about contract clients.
