Australia promises to back any US legal action against WikiLeaks

Australia is such a horrible country when it comes to censorship. How can anyone live there? And how can the people that live there tolerate it?

I pity my family and friends that live there or that want to move there. Poor sods.
 
Kind of agree with the governments on this one. These kinds of documents are not mean't to be released in the same way you don't want the contents of an email sent from your business to another business leaked with a third party. It isn't censorship it is privacy. The governments have just as much a right to internal talks as anyone else and putting people at risk for the sake of "anti-censorship", when it isn't even censorship is bull**** and we all know it.
 
My other brother Darryl also promises to back any US legal action against Wikileaks. I thought you all ought to know that. Just in case.
 
Well done Aussies. The Iranians must be pissed off with him too and we've seen how they deal with people.....

A government must be open and transparrent.
 
Too bad they wont help support the rest of the world in legal action against America for their crimes against humanity during their illegal war(s.)

If he is exposing mis management by govts, I want to know. if he is putting sensitive information that's harmful, I am backing the govts.

We must just remember to fight against censorship in South Africa as well, because it seems to be on the cards at the moment.

Actually, yes, I'd very much appreciate to know what the government keeps on me. Non-transparent government is bull****.
 
:( Damn Australian Government, of course they are helping the US. They are allies. Whatever the US says goes...sigh.

We need someone who is keeping tabs on the Government. No matter what information they have locked up, they shouldn't be any secret files. We are also people and we deserve to know what is really going on. If a war breaks out, we are the ones that get killed, most Government officials are protected by guess who? Us, the public.

The only thing that should never be leaked is someones medical history and their Gmail/facebook passwords. The other info should be free to all.

Why? Your medical history might well be of public interest. From what principle do you extract these "should's" and "shouldn'ts" or is your assertion just a random arbitrary preference?

I extract these "should's" and "shouldn'ts" from the same location all these other laws are made from. My a-n-u-s. Seriously. I mean, we all have our opinion. It's not like a God is telling us what to do and what not to do. Laws are just someones opinion of how things should go and this is my opinion. :)

Do you want the rest of South Africa to know what Government keeps on you? Many ex-wifes would love to see tax records.
