Imagine Vodacom cut all their data bundle pricing in half tonight

I'm just trying to imagine what the effect would be if Vodacom cut all their data bundle pricing in half tonight. Would CellC still be a popular choice? Would anyone still be in a hurry to move over to CellC?

Just wondering.

Then your VC fanbois will outnumber your CellC fanbois....
 
I'd still swap ... Although cost is a priority, having a reliable connection with even moderate speeds is very high on my list.
 
I purchased the Cell 5GB Pakcage on 1 December , and even if Vodacom becomes cheaper than cell c , their Speed in Cape Town is absolutley fab , currently 5x faster than Vodacom. I use cell c during the day and Vodacom Night Owl at Night and when i switch cards i get so frustrated with Vodacoms speeds, cannot believe i have been happy with that four almost 4 years.
 
Who is this Vodacom you speak of?

We only speak of Cell C in the village, there is no other.
 
did anyone get close to 21mbs(15,16,17mbs) my friend only gets max 9mbs.

9Mbps still is good. Not only good, it's excellent.

You won't achieve near-perfect speeds as there is many influencing factors.

Only in laboratory circumstances will your friend be able to hit 21Mbps.

I hit between 4 to 8Mbps, good enough for me. Better than 512k ADSL.

true am still on 512k on Wimax line :-(

Come to think of it you paid for 21mbs service and you not getting even close to 10 'you should ask for a discount'

Well I woke up from the dream and I dreamt that I spent the evening with Charlize Theron, won the lottery jackpot three times without even buying a ticket, the DA took control of the country but Vodacom still left their prices at the same level for a the few customers that they have left!

You have better luck getting a Leprechaun to cut a rainbow in half.

Just do what everyone else is doing - Go to CellC who has already cut the price in THREE.
