blackberry : searching for network after every received call

after every call received, i get the message: searching for network, on my blackberry
during this time, a person e.g. phones me , and then has to leave a message

am i the only one experiencing this?
i have gone through each and every setting, i cannot find where to disable this "refresh" of network after each call. it is a 8520. the GPRS bar is full, it is in every part of Cape Town, so not applicable to specific area.
 
Used to have the same issue on my 8520 - no service after literally every call.
No such issue since changing to a 9700.
 
Take your phone to Vodacare and request that they reload your OS. If that does not work, they might have to send it up to Joburg to ARC.

PS: If your phone was not supplied by VSP, then please take it to the relevant service provider.

This happens with my, and my husband's, 8520 as well. We've updated our OS multiple times, and with each update, it's still the same.

If this isn't happening with the 9700, maybe it's just an issue with the 8520?
