MTN and Garmap - service suspended

Hi guys,

Had a quick look, but did not see this being discussed before.

Got my Bold 9700 yesterday, in the box was a brochure with the MTN/Garmap navigation offer. When I tried to activate the service, I was told it was suspended. 1555 confirmed it this morning, and could not give me a definite answer as to when it would be reinstated.

Anyone with perhaps a bit more info on this?

Yes it is very disappointing to say the least :wtf: , I received the exact same message and the response from MTN was just as vague... I have been waiting since the 29th of November for an answer as to when it would available again but no such luck... but then again we are talking about MTN, the not so ayobaness :sick:
 
That's really not Ayoba, got my upgrade a while ago, but the two years only kicks in on 1/1/11, so was saving the two year garmap until then... now THIS??
 
Maybe one of the MTN guys can chirp in here? Snakepit?

It would really be nice if they can sort it out, the Garmap products are excellent and would be a good companion for the BB.
