The first question every asks once they have seen MediaFire in action is “how can this be free?” But it is, and it’s fabulous! MediaFire is the simplest and cheapest file hosting service to share files and images that I know of. Simple to upload. Simple to manage. Simple to share…and did I mention that it’s free?
So what exactly is MediaFire? Basically it’s a place on the internet where you get unlimited storage [max 100 MB per file], unlimited uploads and downloads, unlimited bandwith, all with no sign up required and no software to install. Yes, you can ask: “How can this be free?”
It just is. OK?!
As the owner of a audio production company we are often needing to send big WAV files or images and MediaFire is unbelievably simple and effective in this regard. I can create folders and put all the files from the project into the folder and then send the link to my client to download from whenever he gets a chance. Plus, there’s no expiry date and if I want to leave it online as a form of backup, I can!
There is a pro option if you want to upload files up to 10GB in size, but for most South Africans that’s a little unrealistic.
Go take a look, it’s even better than you think…plus, it’s free.
