Have you been frantically looking for a solution to this mystery? You search Facebook for a friend’s name or perhaps your friends list and that magic friend name-reveal that happens when you partially type their name into the search fields doesn’t happen. No worries, Facebook is perhaps a little slow today, you think to yourself. You do find the name in general search and you can still access the profile. Ah all is fine you think.
The reality is that it isn’t fine. You are going through the proverbial Facebook crapshoot for removed friends. It is a slow and not so obvious process that sometime later could even make that “friend’s” profile page invisible to you depending on their privacy settings. It is a crushing realisation but also a freeing one. Why keep in contact with somebody that doesn’t want to be in contact with you?
The best thing to do is to smile, wave and move on. Most of the time the people you lose are not that familiar anyways. The only question is how did you become so unpopular? I have been looking for reasons why people drop friends and the truth is it ranges generally in the stupid zone. Girls getting new boyfriends, kick of guys from their lists. Guys getting new girlfriends would kick off girls from their lists. That kind of stuff. So, you might just be the victim of somebody else’s love games. Or maybe you and I just smell. Hmm, where did I put my deodorant?!!?
