call of duty 4 latency? on a 384 line?

before i actually go out and buy cod4 wanted to know what kind of latency to you guys get on the local servers with a 384 connection (afrihost uncapped)? is it playable?
 
Ping a local site. That's roughly the ping you will get to the CoD4 servers.
 
384k is good enough for any game.

Trust me, back in 2006 I played on Battlefield 2 servers with 63 players on 192k. Games like CoD use as much bandwidth as Counter-Strike. It's ***kol. I get 22 to 40 ping in all my games. Any lag you experience is related to your ISP and not your broadband line. There is no game, PC or console, that gets close to maximizing a 384k line, and it won't be for a long time.
