Where to from here?? Terrible speeds on mweb news servers

I really can't take this for much longer. I'm getting terrible terrible speeds on MWEB news server. Guys, what are my best alternatives? I've gotto try something else. This has been going on for too long...

Currently on 384k line, MWEB uncapped.

Uncapped was perfect because I didn't have to worry about switching dsl details on my router/pc.
I need decent speeds on the news servers.
 
You can also just try different methods of downloading. Filehosting sites aren't as bad on MWeb.

Wasn't mweb suppose to bring a caching server on-line for the news server ????

I was told it was suppose to be on-line last week. Properly does not work
 
Looks like I have to eat my words.....a few moments after my post last night, I started up my Grabit again and speeds shot up to full speed...first time in weeks!. Even now (09:30), its still running at full speed!
 
Well this is what I'd like to know, is the root cause of my problem due to the actual performance of news.mweb.co.za or is it because of something that MWEB is doing/throttling/whatever? Because if its something that MWEB is doing, then am I correct in saying that I would probably experience the same problem with any news server I use?

By the way, MWEB Ops checked my line and it showed up ok.
