Ster-Kinekor Theatres has launched a fun interactive movie-related website exclusively for kids. www.sterkinekor.com/skkids lets children escape into the world of movies and in one click they can view the latest trailers, read all about the movies and their stars, see what’s coming up, play games and download exclusive content all aimed directly at them.

“We wanted to create an environment that is fun, safe and really children-centric,” commented Elizabeth Lee Ming, Ster-Kinekor Theatres’ CRM Manager. “Children of all ages are increasingly online, and rather than them having to navigate through content that is not aimed at them or necessarily appropriate, we realized the need to create this portal for them.”

Aimed at children from 3 years and up, www.sterkinekor.com/skkids will not only offer the latest movie related information and games but also offer a vast archive of “fun stuff”.

Ster-Kinekor kids website launches with the release of Jerry Bruckheimer’s first 3D film for the big screen, the comedy G-FORCE, about a covert government operation to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. The film features the voices of Sam Rockwell, Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz, Bill Nighy, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan.
