Yes, I know these kinds of conversations are not nice, but hey, who hasn’t thought about this at least once? Be honest! If you are a broadband user, work in the IT industry and love the web, Ivy would be one of the best, if not THE best candidate for a good torture session. You would be tempted to use the old rack, water board technique, whips and tiny cage if you could, but even then it would not suffice. I think there are better and far more painful ways to give Ivy her own back and to be honest any of the previous would probably considered kinky by her majesty.
Seeing as she has been voted Telecoms Mamparra of the Year for 2008 @ MyBroadband, I believe a little torture is in order.
This is my list of some of the methods I would use to torture Ivy. It is short and simple, but what would you add?
Make her listen to Telkom’s line hold music and ads on loudspeakers for weeks on end.
Give her an address to a website with a 1.1GB flash game that if she manages to finish it would switch off the loudspeakers playing the hold music for Telkom. But only give her ADSL with 1GB cap.
Put her in a tiny phone booth that opens up only when Telkom makes a truly competitive pricing move in response to Neotel of more than 50% the current voice and data rates…
She can only have a McDonald’s burger for every megabyte of data downloaded by any school that still doesn’t get 50% off their Internet bill by Telkom. ON DIALUP!!! I do believe this one might break her!
Last but not least I’d make her pay her own bloody telephony bills!!!
