I'm amazed by this private HoN server.

Its really good, stable, fun and growing.
So what are you waiting for? The best private HoN server is now and its free.

I don't play HoN, but things like this interest me. Props, especially seeing as you say it's a solo project :P. How did you do it? Sniff packets and put together the pieces?
 
It was a solo project, but now I have a buddy helping me. Server is almost complete, only broken thing atm is matchmaking but im not too amped to implement that.
 
Dont worry got it :) +1 to the guys who did this, can you guys add a donation tab via pay-pal on your website plz

If you read my ToC (Which nobody does), youll find that even though we dont check for it- you are actually required to own a retail HoN account before you may register for an account on SAHoN. The service isnt for "cheap" people, but rather people who are fed up with the crap retail servers.
 
Well think of it this way: if you added extra features over and above what the vanilla official servers offer, and kept up development and grew a community, you could have a super stable super functional alternative to keep people playing, even after the "official" servers go down or lose popularity.
