I just saw this in the sunday tribune tv guide:
TopTV are trying to get 10 new channels by feb 1 of them a sports channel.
 
TopTV's top 10 events for their Top Sport coverage:

  1. World Highland games
  2. Professional Putt-Putt Tour
  3. Surf Lifesaving
  4. American Cribbage Congress
  5. Dog Sledding, Dog Racing and Dog Tossing
  6. World Footbag Association
  7. Rock Paper Scissors League
  8. World Adult Kickball Association
  9. Unicycle Hockey World Championships
  10. The Extreme Ironing World Championships

I was hoping TopTv would get us the horror channel or a food channel or something that DSTV cannot offer like an ANIMAX style or sci-fy channel.

Listen to the people TopTV.
Please don't waste your valuable bandwidth on crappy niche sports that nobody cares about!

Very funny :D Now can someone please find out which channels will be added. I am on the verge of canceling my TopTV subscription. I just don't watch that much TV to justify the R250 pm unless some sport channels are being added :p nothing better than sitting with a beer falling asleep while watching SPORT :D
 
Well DSTV has spent billions purchasing rights to broadcast live sport....

TopTv will need mega bucks to aquire rights themselves
