I literally replied #### ### to their SMS today.
They've SPAM SMSed me about 20 times this year, each time saying "reply STOP to opt out". And I have every time.

um, never? What did you do that they hate you so much? I've been with them for 20 years and never had any spam... other than the account activity notices which I subscribed to.

They spam me regularly, trying to give me loans, insurance, telling me about their extra services, airtime yada yada. Not interested, they don't respect unsubscribe.
FNB also SPAM me constantly with their telemarketers trying to sell me insurance.

I don't mind once off SPAM (it can be useful), but they must respect unsubscribe requests.

Thank goodness they don't have my number. Not that I do not like their services, I just don't want to be sms'd by anyone other than my family and friends. It is most annoying and distracting. In actual fact I might just make a point of never using a spamming companies services ever again out of principle.

if i didn't had my bankcard/postal i would just never knew i was with nedbank :D

I receive lots of stuff from them.. but usually only when i do transactions on my account

Unsolicited SMS spam can simply be deleted, but Nedbank sends me actual (paper) post offering loans which is pretty unethical IMO. Firstly I'm not a client of theirs, secondly they SHOULDN'T be encouraging short-term loans and thirdly it's a waste of paper. Bad Nedbank. Bad.

I used to get spammed by STD Bank about their insurance schemes. I told them to take my name of that list of customers they phone and SMS otherwise I am closing my account. I never received a another notification from them after that.

I keep gettings sms's from the saying.

Nedbank Confirms: A Transaction of Rxxxx.xx was processed on your card.

They make me :(.

Direct Marketing Opt out list you can subscribe to:
http://www.dmasa.org/dmasa/dma_optout.php
One page there says "R500/year membership" (too much)
the opt out page says "click the do not contact me icon" but I can't see any icon?

I clicked on the http://www.facilities.co.za/dcm link as indicated on the page I linked. I ran a search for 500 on the page I linked and didn't find anything, so stop clicking around wherever and just read properly.

worst is when they (not specific to Nedbank) decide to send spam sms's in the middle of the night and that gets the house up!

FNB Replied "We confirm that the have noted on our records not to include your account with marketing related sales."
Is that matric English? (not trying to be funny, seriously wondering)
