LCD TV 2 choices which one? urgent guys:) please thanks

What is making you consider the hisense, the price ? If price is not a matter then the Sony is a winner, no contest.
 
My guess is both will perform similarly for PC/PS3. Go and test them. ;)

I'd take the Sony though.

Well, kind of.

I think the biggest differences between these two sets will be in the video processing and features. For PC, if you're going to be using HDMI, some "cheaper" sets don't let you do a 1-1 pixel mapping; you have to do that from the PC's side, which can be annoying...

Yeah. I don't think the Hisense will be bad at all. I would go for Sony more on the premise it is a more established brand, and maybe 'cause they're Japanese. IIRC judging from Sahara price lists, the V68P is not one of the absolute entry-level Hisense sets, can't be all that bad.

I'd guess the Sony would be better for TV though. Off topic though. :)
 
when it comes to tv sets you get what you pay for, i have seen hi-sense sets with an optimal set up and it doesn't compare with mid to high end models of established brands, rather go for a samsung or a sony if you must, for gaming especially rather go for the more expensive model.
 
Had a look at some Hisense TVs today after seeing this thread; they actually don't look too bad. Must say, the picture seems a little bit grainy for my liking, but it could have been due to the overly high sharpness settings. But in terms of the look of the actual unit, and the look of the picture, it seems like decent value at the low end. On the high end, however, the Hisense quickly loses out, as they're still priced around the same as other "proper" brands.
 
I have a 32" HiSense and its perfect for wathcing TV and playing PS3 games but if I had to a choice between the HiSense (which I love) and the Sony - well its would be Sony. There picture is just in a league of its own. Would love a Bravia sitting in my lounge.

If price is not the issue then surely Sony is the winner. There are many buyers who buy on-line LCD screen for gaming and PC. Many LCD HD TV also comes with Wi Fi and Internet ready features so you can enjoy the best of the on-line gaming.
