Question how will upgrading 3g's current speed to hsdpa help the problems that we are all having now.
I dont feel likeim getting the service i signed up for will i be able to use the higher speed of the new 3g service when it gets here with my current novatel card iv been told otherwise
I just feel that Vodacom should fix the problems they have with the current network before making more they dont understand.......

Better upload and download speeds are the main advantage of HSDPA, so I guess unless the other issues are resolved, HSDPA will not help much.

According to my information, the current Novatel card WILL NOT support HSDPA. Maybe you'll be offered a trade-in on the Novatel for an HSDPA compatible card

The reliabilty problems have generally not been on the 3G radio network which is where the main difference between 3G and HSDPA comes into play, so the upgrade should hopefully not cause any further problems. I think the guys at Vodacom are running their butts off trying to ensure a reliable service - if they persevere long enough, I am sure they will come right (they seem determined to saddle this horse one way or the other!).
