LG BD 550 Netcast in SA?

I recently bought a LG BD 550 network bluray player. I cannot seem to setup netcast for Netflix®, Vudu™, YouTube™, Roxio® CinemaNow, Pandora®, Picasa™, AccuWeather etc. I understand that we dont have NETFLIX in the country however Youtube should have no problem.

I thought it was firmware howerver it seems that in good old SA we cannot get the above mentioned services.

I'm thinking of setting up a VPN and obtaining an American IP address to assist.

Has anyone else done this or have a problem with netcast enabled devices?

Hope this is not too late but I have a solution. it involves voiding the warranty and i am about to do it to mine
