Xperia X10, not mounting usb to the PC

i cannot mount my x10 to my PC, normally as soon as i plug in the usb to the phone a popup message comes up asking to mount usb.

Nothing comes up now and i cant connect it to the PC:mad:, the usb just charges the phone now.:(

is anyone experiencing similar problems with the x10? any way to get it to pick up the usb?
 
same problem

i am having the same problem, and i can't seem to find the solution online. hopefully we have a solution soon

It gets worse, mine eventually stopped charging altogether.

The Best solution is to send it in, i had to do that to mine, they fitted in a whole new board and the fone was like brand new.
The X10 power port cannot be replaced individually, which is why they fit in a new board.
lol only thing is i waited 4 weeks to get my X10 back :(
 
Just like the N900 the X10 also has issues with its USB port, its a known issue so SE should fix it for free, take it in.
