Mine is killing me... I live for weekends, and there's not really much I can do to change it.

04:55 - Wake up, prep for gym and work
05:30 - Off to gym
08:00 - Work
17:30 - leave work for gym
19:00 - get home and do cooking for following day.
21:00 - prepare a few things for work/meetings, play with dog.
22:00 - try relax, Tv, etc
23:00 - Bed.

Repeat x5. I could spend less time at gym, but the trade off is traffic.

Better to spend time at the gym instead of getting stuck in traffic. I'd suggest you relocate and stay close to work so as to avoid traffic, I live about 5/10 minutes drive from where I work.

For now my routine is as follows (Monday to Friday)
06:00 - Wake up, stretch and then go jog OR Wake up, stretch and read a book or a mag.
07:00 - Take a shower, eat breakfast and go to work
08:00 - Start working
17:00 - Knockoff time, come back home and go jogging
19:00 - Cook, take a shower and eat.
21:00 - Surf the net, watch tv and relax
23:00 - Sleep.

At 18:30 I sometimes attend Toastmasters meetings and a meeting for an organization, so I don't go jogging. I then come back at around 22:00 whereby I relax, watch TV or surf the net and then go sleep at around 23:00.

Wake up, think this is bs, I'm not going to put up with this anymore, get distracted by the alarm clock, remember that I have a daily routine, perform daily routine, go to bed, repeat.

Change your diet :P

Seriously if you gymming that much maybe look at a simple 6 small meal a day first 3 x protein/carb and then 3 x protein/veg type diet. I have a gas braai so sticking on a piece of meat on instant heat while I check my emails is easy. Boiling or stir frying some veg for the evening is also quick. You can stock up on fruits for the morning and use oatmeal or rice for the carbs :)

Should save you an hour cooking :P and I do believe you aren't getting enough sleep for your gym as well :/

But I am no expert. And of course assuming you are a guy and at gym wanting to build up or maintain.

I used to do that when I was renting, always live close to work - the problem is, my project change constantly, so I never know where I'll be working next.

you go to the gym twice a day ?

I can't wait for the weekend.

Weights in the morning - cardio in the evening - I could do the cardio at home, but then I have to spend 45-60min in traffic, so might as well go to gym, and spend 15min in traffic afterwards.

Change your diet :P

I eat 10x a day ;) 3300 calories.

Thats one thing I can't wait for, money to upgrade the kitchen - we currently have a old counter electric stove that decides how well it will work each day... sometimes I can do everything in 30min, other days it takes well over an hour.

I also think I'm not getting enough sleep for gym recovery, but there's not really much I can do about. I don't feel drained of energy - just drained of life... same thing over and over and over... and then you die, and with a bond payment, car, etc, etc, etc - I can't just stop :p

And then, when do you shag?

Friday 10pm till Sunday 10pm :p

In the week people generally have the same routines but what about Saturdays?

I have no routing what so ever on weekends.

Nothing really, every second weekend I have a gardener, so up at 7am, but I usually get up at 8am anyway.... then fix things around the house - year one just finished, and so much left to do.

When I'm at university

6.30am - breakfast

8am-3PM lectures and tutorials (although there are breaks in between)

3PM - 10PM - mess around, do some work, watch TV etc.

Oh, and twice or three times a week I go to gym either in the morning or afternoon.

From mid-June to late July and early November to mid-February - on holiday :D ... varsity is so nice :p
