[This follows on from Consumer Complaints - A Guide (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/303983-Consumer-Complaints-A-Guide?p=5419217#post5419217).]
ISPA members (http://www.ispa.org.za/membership/list-of-members) are required to adhere to the ISPA Code of Conduct (http://www.ispa.org.za/code-of-conduct). A complaint is lodged by completing the online Complaints Form (http://www.ispa.org.za/code-of-conduct/complaints-form), which must contain the name and contact details of the complainant, identify the service provider and the part of the Code of Conduct allegedly breached and provide a detailed description of the breach and an indication of attempts at resolution. An acknowledgement of receipt will be forwarded to the complainant within 3 working days, following which the complaint will be referred to the ISPA member for remedy of the complaint or a response within 5 working days. The complaint and response will then be forwarded to an adjudicator for review and a ruling on the matter, which will take approximately 3 calendar weeks. Throughout this process, additional information may be requested from both parties. An appeal process is allowed.
