For me it's a pigs foot. I have a friend who ate a pocket calculator to win a bet.
 
Magnet, live cricket (way better than the ODI the other day), leaves, stones, paper, cigarette.

I used to accidentally swallow things when I was younger.
 
I ate dried potato powder...... (the lorry that a friend of mine used to drive for a living, broke down and we had no food for 3 days, only water and the dried potato powder)

Why didn't you mix the powder with the water ... ? :erm:
 
Non-lethal = A mopane worm
Lethal = piece of a broken light bulb when I was about 4
 
Crocodile. Felt strangely satisfying to get some revenge for all my ancestors that would've invariably been chowed by crocs over the millennia. :p Slap 'n bit of a garlic sauce on it & it's divine. Giraffe less so - has the texture of a rubber eraser.
 
All the stuff at the Carnivore restaurant including Croc and Giraffe.

Penguin (not ideal)
Goat (not that bad)
Snake (that was miff - it was even on a stick)
Chocolate Crickets are yummy.

Not as experimental as I used to be though :)
 
I've eaten:

ants - pepper taste
snails - slimy
sand - gritty
hibiscus flower - natural laxative
shrooms - psychedelic
wood - fibre rich
paper - chewey
1/2 a cent large copper coin no longer circulated - coppery - pooped it out whole and bought a packet of mixed sweets
cigarette - was caught smoking and forced to eat a Rothmans
nail varnish - numbing effect
top of match - sulfurous
charcoal - no taste, makes fine grit in mouth
part of a shongologo - tasted like it smells (arsenic)
urine - traces only, during sex
earthworm - tasted like earth
lead - nice to chew - highly poisonous
mouthful of insects - rollerskated through a horde
snow - taste like ice
plastic - spat it out after chewing for a while - tasteless
ink - while chewing on pen
blood - was in an accident, got a few mouthfuls
cocaine - on a sore tooth - made my mouth nicely numb - taste bitter
 
Had bad case of post-nasal drip few weeks ago, was told that onions will sort it out quickly. I put a slice of bread at the bottom, filled up with sliced onions, another slice of bread with mild home-made mango atchaar, topped it with nik-naks and spiced it with CL soul fire sauce. Next night was craving so made same recipe but with Nando's sauce on top. Its time to make another one when I get home.
