iMate JasJar MTN Offering??

Hi,

Does anyone in the know (like some 1 working for MTN) know when exactly the iMate JasJar will be available as a phone upgrade for MTN subscribers?
It's been available from Leaf for about a month now...

Please do keep us updated, I'm waiting for the info so that I can place an order. I hope MTN can start supplying these before the end of the month. If so, I'll be one of the first customers!

Any news regarding the little brother to the JASJAR - the KJAM? Looks like a good offering too.
 
On a Procall 120 you can get the following:

Qtek 1010 / XDA I R2 909
Imate 2020 / XDA II R 919
Imate Jam / XDA mini R 0
Imate Jam Pims R 569
Imate PDA2K / XDA III R2 519
Imate K-Jam R1 699 (Cash R 6 000)
Imate Jasjar R1 700 (Cash R10 000)

Know I want to ask you guys, where does MTN get their prices from????

I don't think they know either.
 
Piesang, where'd you get those prices?

KJAM and JASJAR at the same price would be a little absurd, unless they don't want us to buy the KJAM... ;)

MTNSPB - care to verify this for us? Not that I doubt Piesang - I just can't believe the prices.

Here's an extract of an email I got from LEAF today asking about the K-Jam...

"We have launched the K-JAM, you can purchase directly from us at 240 Blairgowrie Drive, or purchase from the networks when they should launch in approximately 1 week.

If purchasing directly from us the device will cost R6040.00 ex VAT."

Strange that the JasJar is cheaper than the PDA2K?

Stock of JasJar and K-Jam really should be made available on contracts very shortly, also the new Smartphone SP5m with built-in wi-fi is available
 
Does anyone know which MTN Shops has the IMate Jasjar on sale already? And on which contracts they will be available, costing etc? And Availibility?
 
Phoned autopage today,

They quoted me R3500 on 1000 min contract and R5200 on procall 600 for the phone.
