What low cost?lucifir said:more people have taken it up because of the low cost recently
I know what you mean but SA has never really experienced low cost access. You always have to add the line rental into any figures and at over r880 for a 1mb line with the 30gb package we were still getting jacked.lucifir said:more people have taken it up because of the low cost recently .. but as from 1 November ( which most ppl don't seem to know about) .. that is surely going to change ... I give it a month before that number drops to at least half![]()
or the other type of penetration involving telkom, us and KY jellysupersunbird said:LOL, the only penetration that is REALLY happening is Telkom "penetrating" more peoples wallets.
Well, at least due to more people having it, this sites numbers may grow and maybe prices will soon drop a bit.
A price reduction is the only real way to ensure better uptake of ADSL. Countries like India have caught on to this and they now plan to slash broadband tariffs by 50 percent in an effort to increase market penetration.
