I must admit, the net feels a little slow to the toutch this morning.

/me is going off to cry now. :(
 
Wow, For now back on Satlink dialup. No ADSL does not feel much slower than performance today on 1024ADSL anyway. Have problem cancelled ADSL, now must wait 30 days apparently for disconnection and as such have to pay for another month. Sux. Telkom thieves! So will have to find some ISP soon
 
hmm... the dumb woman on the fone told me i had 2 cancel before they submitted my next statement.
 
Now i am feeling the pain :( 45kb/s to 3kb/s WoW wont login and MSN Died *sigh*
 
I've been watching a wget download intermittently for the past 33 minutes - no discernable decrease in speed, but very definitely bursty...
 
Unless badly shaped I would have expected a huge improvement in speed as I think many is now ADSL_less. The users must have dropped by at least 30% with cancellations and people not yet renewing the ISP's due to uncertainty or simply forgetting.

Hmm.. i might feel the pain tonight when im capped, i wanna see if i do ge hard capped, and if i do ill switch to another account.
 
Are Telkom offering a community service? I mean connectivity to the world is either so slow or non-existent there is just no way you'll get close to 3GB. My Netmeter projection for the month is just over 200MB both up and down.
 
Friendly warning to all! Have you turned off any p2p proggies running in the background? :D
