ok so i have some extra cash laying around want to give ssl servers a bash.

but i dont have credit card to pay them, so wondering if i can do eft to someones account and they buy it for me , obviously someone with good rep, will not eft someone with 1 post or something.

I am with absa so would be great if you absa account to see the money reflected today, or il send you pdf as proof and screenshot of my account saying that i did pay you.

So if anybody would like to help , it would be great, astra web and supernews is cheapest i think, about 11 dollars, il pay in R100 to the person account for bank charges etc.

Has somebody tried this on mweb, what type of speeds you get etc?
 
Well if you have a cheque account and have a cheque card you can buy it like that. That's how I buy my things online. This could be a completely useless comment but just a thought.
 
ok cool my friend will be buying me an astraweb account shortly, so will post back with some speeds, as il remote desktop to home to fire it up :P

aggr i got email with mya ccoutn and ports, tried all the ports, they say does not support ssl, even though they say on website it does o.0

srroy im noob , got details on the website :P
 
astra web and supernews support SSL also all depends on your isp as they might shape it to death during the day.
 
Try these settings (also from website):

Secure Server:
ssl.astraweb.com Ports 443 or 563

ssl-eu.astraweb.com Ports 443 or 563 (European)

ssl-us.astraweb.com Ports 443 or 563 (US)
 
yeah got a pm from a mybb user seeing astraweb is shaped now, and hes using usenetserver ,which runs full speed ,will try it next month 15 dollars though :(
