I recently bought a whole bunch of parts from Kalahari. So far 2 items were broken when I received them - the front panel for my case and the 2 x 2Gb Corsair memory modules.
Now my NIC on my Intel board just randomly disappeared and the light doesn't come on - obviously it is damaged. But there were no storms or any obvious power changes (like the lights dipping) just one second its working fine and the next its not working at all.
Without going into the terrible Kalahari service I suspect that they don't handle their computer parts correctly and I wonder if I should return the motherboard. Bearing in mind that they refuse to pick up their faulty parts so that I have to return them to the manufacturers myself.
On the other hand it really annoys me when I have a brand new computer and parts are all broken - I paid good money dammit!
So what would you do?
(Oh and a new NIC is only about R200 which is fine but it's the point of it isn't it?!
