Apparently its intended to prevent piracy but in reality its to prevent the average user from loading the songs into itunes and onto an iPod as Sony (**spit**) wants Apple to change their policies. Oddly enough the anti-copying is only effective on windoze machines so a mac user is unaffected.

Sony (**spit**) are probably going to get in big *** over this and deservedly so.
 
Saw the original thread on MyADSL and articles on this. Show the power of the internet and free speech. There are more experts online than any company can ever employ. That is a powerfull thought
