Cell C unable to presently RICA new sim cards?

I was very excited when I bought my Cell C 12 X 5GB and modem yesterday, but am now quite frustrated, as DION Wired in Centurion has informed me that they can't RICA my sim at the moment, as the Cell C network won't RICA sim's till further notice:mad:.

Does anybody know if this is true?:confused:

I've just heard something similar from someone who got the 12 x 5GB bundle yesterday.
Cell-C in Howard Centre, Pinelands says there is currently a problem RICA-ing the 5GB SIM cards.
 
I went & bought an extra 2GB promo about 5 days ago & the CellC shop couldn't do RICA & they told be to go buy at CNA or Game..........CNA never had stock so went to game & Rica'd there no problem
 
Returned the bundle to Dion Centurion and got a refund.
Went to Cell C in Centurion and asked till when the R2999 price is valid and the guy said only till the end of Feb. Have a feeling he's is lying....

Anybody know for sure how long the offer is valid?
 
When I bought the 2Gb stick at the end of December, the Cell C shop said that they couldn't RICA me, so just went to a Verimark/Homemark shop, and they RICA'ed it for me.

This is the closest we've had to an official answer:
Good day, kindly note that there will be no new activations on the promo as from 00h00 on 01/03/2011, No usability of the bundle and the unique out of bundle rate after 01/04/2012.

The rate after the promotion ends will be charged at the normal R2 per MB.

thanks ginggs, but I can hardly believe that the 60GB package would then cost around R120 000 - the out of bundle rate on the present package is R0.39, which would make the new 60GB package cost around R23 000, which I still doubt... - but yes, perhaps I should get myself a RICA'd package again on Monday to be on the safe side :-)
