[SOLVED] NO APPLE MAC driver on new Cell C ZTE MF190 Speedstick

OK, So I got my new ZTE MF 190 modem and looking at the box says in plain black bold ink 'System Requirements' "MAC OS X". Plug it in and no drivers and no mount :confused:
Had a look on the mounted Speedstick on my Linux box and only the Windo$e drivers available.
Phone Cell C Speedstick technical help and had no idea about Mac when asking for the Mac drivers/application. She says when I go to "My Computer"... I immediately knew I was in trouble. She spoke to the mananger, says he will phone me back but nothing!:mad:
So my question :confused: - does anyone know when I can find the Cell C Mac Application installer for the new ZTE Speedstick or do I take it back for a refund!? :wtf:
How can they sell this
Didn't have a problem with the previous Huawei E1752, plug in and loaded installer and connected.

worked first time over here. osx snow. it should mount on connect. if its not... something (you, or an application) probably broke is interfering with the mount.

use the usb prober in xcode tools... Launch USB Prober (/Developer » Applications » Utilities » USB Prober) if you dont have a Dev dir... you need to install xcode from yer OSX OS DVD. If you dont have the Deeveedee, then I would suggest downloading the iOS SDK (after quick signup) which includes it. ~3.5Gb.

Anyway... USB prober should mount it without getting into CLI and turning this thread into a germanical.
 
Thanks for the reply - I found a/the solution
In fact it was a case that the USB modem was not mounting as a CDROM installation disk due to the previous version of the Cell C Huawei E1752 application software loaded onto the MAC.
The Cell C installation disk mounted once I deleted any relative existing Huaweixxxx.kext files and ZTExxxx.kext files in the System/Library/Extensions folder and did a reboot
 
Works for Claro modem in Chile!

Thanks a lot! This did the job for me. I am using a ZTE MF190 modem with Claro in Chile. Once the files were removed from the MacBook running Snow Leopard OS X 10.6 I was able to mount the pen drive / memory stick and run the Mobile Broadband Program without restarting the Mac. And then I was online. WiFi cafés goodbye - hello countryside!

¡Muchas gracias! Esto lo hizo para mí. Estoy usando un modem ZTE MF190 de Claro en Chile. Una vez que los archivos fueron eliminados de la MacBook corriendo Snow Leopard OS X 10.6 fue capaz de montar el pen drive / memory stick y ejecutar el programa de banda ancha móvil sin tener que reiniciar el Mac. Y entonces yo estaba en línea. WiFi cafés Adiós - hola vida en el campo!

Please let me know someone how to get my pen recognised by my Mac. It worked once but failed and I uninstalled it and now the laptop Mac Apple won't even acknowledge the stick/pen's existence when I insert it!
 
Please HELP: My pen stick from ZTE MF 190 J for Mac OS X won't get recognized by the laptop. How do I get it top work. I have no driver fo it. Where do I download the driver from?

I experienced the same issue after upgrading the firmware on the MF190. BUT..I've found a solution!

I installed the OSX driver from Reliance Comm and my CellC ZTE MF190 speedstick was instantly detected and displayed in the DEVICES section of Finder.

I hope this helps someone else
 
I can't get the MF190 to work on El Capitan.

Since upgrading to the latest Mac OS, the dongle isn't supported. Anyone got their MF190 working on El Capitan?
