Cybersmart line screw up?

Ok late last month I decided to save a bit of money and downgrade my line to a 384k line. Within 2 days my line was downgraded.

I couldn't handle the slow speeds so on the 4th of this month I requested my line speed be increased back to 4Mb, and now 2 weeks later this still hasn't happened. I am seriously considering that using an ISP to warehouse my line is a bad idea. I called yesterday and got "we will check on it sir", this is not helpful!

You telkom guys, does it usually take 2+ weeks to do an Upgrade/Downgrade? Or has Cybersmart screwed up and nobody wants to take accountablility.

Please PM me your adsl username and password and I'll take a look at this for you.

Keep in mind that all requests are submitted electronically to Telkom and can take up to 21 days for Telkom to process applications.

My line is now 4Mb, amazing... 10000 emails and one posting on myBB and suddenly my line is now where it should be. Anyhow Reuben if it was you then thanks. This should not be necessary. If it is taking forever for the upgrade clients should be kept in the loop.
 
It is Cybersmart that drag their feet - have you ever visited their Canterbury St offices - once you have, you will understand why!

CS' Internet offerings are super fast, however their admin is super slow and running on African Time.
