Has anyone noticed that they seem to emphisize the "monolpoly" a bit too much? I have a hunch that was edited by people who don;t really like telkom, hence the refferal links....
What do you people think of this...
You would be hard put to find anybody on this forum positively disposed towards Telkrap. And yes, the article "was edited by people who don;t really like telkom, hence the refferal links....". Irrespective of your feelings about them, there's no denying that the Wikipedia entry is honest and accurate in every respect.

Geek_wannabe : I have seen that article before. It is highly unprofessional and doesn't deserve to be on wikipedia. Similarly for the Vodacom article. People are taking wikipedia down because ofthe dislike for companies. It is a pity
That depends on your understanding of what the word 'professional' implies - given your response, you clearly have no idea of the concept, much like the companies being referred to. And DON'T point me to their profitability levels, which are in fact merely evidence of further unprofessionalism, particularly in the face of their monoplistic/oligopolistic operational scenario.

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, so if you are not satisfied with the entry, you can make it better yourself.
That's the whole point of it.
Which parts specificly do you feel is not accurate?

Instead of the companies writing up about themselves, it's good to see people who are affected by the companies writing about them.
Instead of corporate propaganda, you get to find out what the company is really about.

I do not see a problem with the entry in wikipedia, it is very accurate.
I think it is acurate and fair.
Can only imagine what I would have written, would probably contain references to being sodamised [by Telkom].
