... And got my two copied games. I don't believe in modding or chipping - and told him I won't be able to play them.

However the Thailand guy also gave him a CD to use which he said will work.

What could it be?
Possible to break anything?

No i dont think it would work.. As far as i know the xbox has to be opened and the dvd drive needs to be connected to a pc in order to mod it.. From what i understand, you only void your warranty if the stickers are broken on the unit (the xbox has been opened).

+1, i highly doubt it would be posible to MOD the xbox with just a CD, the guy probaly just tried his best sell your buddy the games.
try it and see what it does, probably nothing would be my best gets
