Mourinho confirms England return

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he will join an English club when he leaves Real Madrid, which he described as the "most difficult club in the world".

The former Chelsea manager, who has previously made clear his fondness of English football, once again spoke glowingly of his time in the Premier League and said he is looking forward to working in the country where he most enjoys his life and career.

Mourinho did not indicate he will negotiate an early exit from his contract in Madrid, which has another three years to run. Depending on the timing of his move to England over the next few years, he could foreseeably join any of the Premier League's big clubs and he has spoken of his desire to build a dynasty in a longer-term project than the short stints he has been known for taking on.

"I miss England and my next job will be in England," Mourinho said in the Sun. "There is unfinished business. And I think England wants me back, no? It was the most enjoyable time of my career. My Chelsea time was amazing as a football manager and family man. My family and I enjoyed it so much. We made so many friends here. We still keep in touch, we still come back. In football there are a few victories here I would like to repeat. I will talk to my agent and get a project for my career.

"I still have three years at Real Madrid. It is the biggest club in the world but it is also the most difficult club in the world. They came to me for the third time and I could not say no to them for the third time - I had to go. And I had to go to Italy, that was important for me because I wanted to try there. Everyone said it was the home of tactics so I said let me try there.

"But it is not England, England is special. People in Italy, Spain and Portugal ask me why I love England so much and I can't explain - I just do. I want to be happy in my work. I want to be happy with my football."

United? Lol, if anything the man is basically spelling out that he wants to come back to Chelsea! He has said recently that if he returns to England then he will not do so with any of teams he previously managed direct rivals in terms of the championship. So in terms of what is written in bold there - he has unfinished business with Chelsea and wants to come back to sort that out.

To me, and I'm not saying this as a Chelsea fan but an objective football fan, all the hints are pointing towards a Mourinho return to Chelsea in the summer :D

Another longshot hint is what Torres has been saying in reference to managers - he has mentioned Mourinho and how he respects him and wouldn't mind working under him. Now Torres has most certainly been brought in by Abrahamovich and he would certainly have been made aware of the future direction of the club by Roman. He prob would've told who he's planning on signing in the future as well what the status of the manager situation is. So yeah I'm thinking that Mou is strongly linked with a Chelsea return but as the Special one himself says: Anything can happen in football and we won't know for sure wheres he's going until his actually signed that contract :) (but for all of us lets hope its not City :D )
 
Why go back to a team he's already managed? The reason why he's skipped across all over Europe is because he's always looking for a new challenge. Going back to Chelsea isn't a new challenge for him

Well personally I think Mou didn't leave Chelsea by his own volition and thus feels like he has unfinished business with the team (Champions League, Season double, season treble)! Roman is a lot more understanding nowadays and Mou is a lot wiser - so the two probably feel they can work together after all these years and finally forge the indomitable partnership they so badly wanted in the 1st stint(Fernando Alonso's voice). He undoubtedly still loves Chelsea the most despite managing all these other teams (as evidenced by him continuously mentioning Chelsea and his great friendships there). So based on that unfinished biz I reckon he wants to come back to get those achievements sorted out and maybe even manage Chelsea for a long stint (based on the football manager, family man part of his comment) So yeah that IMHO :)

But seriously if he can go to Liverpool, get them out of there crap,make them champions etc then i believe he will truely be the special one....

But ya, i know he wont go to liverpool...

WHEN HE LEAVES RM... I keep hearing that his going to do that at the end of current season he will return to England blah blah blah...

We all know his eying an return to Eng but WHEN he does it may not be now as his RM team hasn't won La Liga and the CL yet :)

United, Fergie is reaching his expiry date soon - within the next 3 years - possibility of Jose replacing Fergie extremely high
City, Any one is expendable
Chelsea, don't think Jose would go back to Chelsea.

Its between City and United, but I think City are in the same position Chelsea were when Jose took over, so its probably ideal for him, he can create a new legacy there, if he goes to United he will forever be in Fergusons shadow, and Jose doesnt like to be second best to anyone

He may surpass Fergie and that would be the challange :)

But who wants to stay at a club for more than 5years, besides for Wenger and Fergie. If Mo is really that irritated with RM, I think he will probably leave as soon as next season, doubt he will leave at the end of season after he has won nothing (doubt he going to win anything).

Highly likely he will be going to City, they got the cash to afford his wages and as far as I know he has much more freedom on which players he wants and not what the owner wants like at Chelsea. Will definitely not be going to Arsenal, Totts or Pool. Maybe Utd, but is Fergie ready to hang up his Managerial boots by end of next year ?

I think this guy has achieved most of the things he wanted to. The only thing probably left for him to do is manage the Portuguese national team IMO. But I do think he will go to Chelsea again.

never in a million years and i'll tell you why. He doesnt stay in one position for long, he will win a few trophies and off he goes to his next challenge. He's all about himself the big nob

I would love to see Mourinho come to Q.P.R as number two to Neil Warnock!
