And the "Proudly South African" Tekom is no-where in the picture! I find it sad that State owned universities need to get bandwidth from telco providers other than Telkom. ... doesnt that spell out 'Whoop Whoop Whoop, Telkom - You have a problem!" SA municipalities and now universities are saying "screw you telkom"

It is because the DoC have a lot of stuborn knuckle heads working for them and they don't know what the heck they are doing.

Users are beginning to do it for themselves. Good stuff.
Only problem for these universities is that they still have to get the loop from uni to eassy sorted out - ie they are still stuck with passing through Telscum and its other African equivalents.

Good opourtunity there for the SNO to generate some excellent PR and general goodwill from what will in the future be the higher income earners by sorting out those local links.
