Thanks, faxmachine is offline, vodacom does not show rates for sending.

Just FYI... these premium rate Fax to e-mail numbers can cost as much as R2.25 per minute.
Make sure you explain that to any potential customers (a lot of customers know this and refuse to use these premium rate services).
But they do have their uses.
This next bit is just my speculation... but I also strongly suspect that sending a fax to these numbers takes longer than sending to a normal fax machine.
This comes after my experiences in sending off documents to the bank, or to a clearing agent and then sending the same documents back to myself.
In ALL cases it takes longer to send the documents to my own 086 number... which probably means that the premium rate services are using the slowest mechanism possible in order to maximise time.
They make more money that way. But I will leave you to conduct your own experiments.

Thanks Gary. Yes i am aware of the pricing involved when sending & make customers aware of it as well.
One would have thought the fax would be shelved by now & email adopted as replacement.
