Hi guys,

I remember reading a while back that the Consumer Protection Act would force network providers and ISP's to allow the user to retain data/sms/minutes for 12 months before losing it.

Does anyone know if this is true now that CPA is in effect?

Thanks!

I don't know why anyone would be under that impression given the current reading of the act?
I have not seen anything in the act that even hints at that.

I was under that impression based on posts prior to the implementation of the CPA - hence I am ASKING if it is still true as I am unfamiliar with all the fine details of the act. Since you are obviously extremely well versed with the CPA - I must thank you for clearing the air oh CPA god.

You're welcome. :)
