So interesting one, company offering an investment opportunity/employee retention plan for valuable employees.
Basically you get a whole wack of cash for shares in the company. If you stay for a few years with the company the loan is settled, if you leave before x years you give back the cash/shares and pay in the interest on the loan.
So you can clearly see that it's an employee retention plan (can't help but relate it to a cellphone contract). Does make me feel good though, apparently I'm not completely useless and worth something in this industry.
I'm not one to switch jobs every 2 months, basically only worked for 2 IT companies in the last 10 years. Also never plan past the end of the month.
Any comments?
