Who will win the South African wireless broadband race?

The 3G offering is still too expensive compared to fixed-line ADSL and it is slow. Now if the wireless rates in SA are in line with international tariffs as mentioned in the article, then wireless is a dead duck in the developed world and only really a viable alternative in developing countries.

3.5 G is on the way. Apparently it will run at 3Mbps though of course as long as the cell companies are reliant on Telkom for bandwidth it wont.
I wouldnt discount the future of wireless.
 
There's a race going on? Until telkomSAIX is neutered any race is pointless.
