I've had a Sony W800i for nearly 4 weeks and Voda still dont support it properly. The call centre still dont have the MMS or INTERNET settings and often will send you V800 setup instead. Vodacom4me isnt any better. They say the system is updated only every 3 months so I have to wait! Email setup has to be done manually over the phone because they are "not allowed" to send me email with the fields.

You can send the settings to your phone directly from Sonyericsson's web site. Let me know if you still have problems.

thanks but the email settings are not available at least i couldn't find them. It would be nice if voda could have some 'request' codes like mtn - star hash etc.. then it would save waiting in the call centre queue or paying for gprs access to the sony site

aren't a v800 and w800 exactly the same except for the vodaphone branding.

has voda got the k750 settings?

oh ya crap, then the w800 should be very similar to K750i.

Cant wait for the W900, pity it still is only a 2MP cam.

Well I have a Palm Treo 650 that can't receive MMS :(

I see them selling them already at Incredible Connections and various other outlets, but what's the point of having a fancy phone that can't receive MMSs? Oh well, I'm hoping some rich and powerful person buys one and fights them to set it up correctly ;)

Odd thing is my old Sony Ericsson T68i can send to it perfectly, but none of the newer phones ...

You can use USSD codes (star number hash) to get the settings. *111# should get you there :)

ALL SE's use the same settings for MMS and GPRS AFAIK...you can go into the USSD menu by pressing *111# and then choosing as your phone model the T610...Vodacom never had the settings for the K700i( which I use) but I simply applied basic logic to get connected.
